We got to sleep in a little, I got up at 6:00 and Tanner at 9:30. We went straight to the hospital no food or drink! Xray was first it was quick and easy. Then to a renal ultrasound, that was easy even though he didn't want to be touched. Then onto and MRI, the nurse took us in a room, and started discussing putting a tube in him....LOL (in the rectum) I can just tell you that is not going to happen. Guess what it did not, we did the test without the added information. There is no way he was gonna let her get remotely close to his butt. Meet Mary, who is wonderful, had pizza at a local joint, then Dairy Queen in 40 degree weather. Found an indoor water park (CoCo Key) Tanner had a blast, then the arcade. We are back at the Ronald McDonald house for the evening, I am exhausted. I did get an amazing phone call today from my office. I am still shocked and so very blessed. My faith and trust in God is what carries me through. We meet the surgeon tomorrow, I pray it goes well. He is not the doctor I was planning to use, because the one I wanted is on vacation. I hope to see our GI doctor from Asheville, NC on Saturday, as he is here in OH currently on a family vacation and said he would love to see us! I will update tomorrow after we see the doc. Plan is to go to the Zoo after that, if the weather is nice!

Please know that we are really an open book! If we right something and you want to know more about it please ask I will share just about anything! If I am not talking about something and you would like information on it, ask! I want this to be a help for other families. Tanner was born with a birth defect called "Imperferate anus" it is rare!

I am blogging in hopes to show people what it is like in our lives, and maybe something somewhere along the way will help another family!

Arrival in OHIO
We are at the Ronald McDonald house in Cincinnatti! The desk people are great, all smiling and very kind! Opening day for the Red's is tomorrow so they have free hats and stuff for the guests here. We went to chuck e cheese's for dinner and had a blast! Meet some amazing people, and are settling in for the night! Tomorrow is the radiology day, several x-rays, a renal ultrasound and an MRI! We will be at the hospital most of the day! But it will be a pretty easy day! Checked on Morgan she said "she is Awesome" so she sounds good and comfortable at her friends house.
Hope those reading this have a wonderful evening!

Sunday
3-27-2011 We had a good time at church this morning, Although Tanner was not able to go! Good to see a few people from there. I am in an emotional whirl wind right now, being thrown from side to side. It is very stressful. I got Morgans clothes and belongings dropped off at her friends house today, so she can stay there as comfortably as possible!
Thank you all for your support

The next journey!
We are preparing to travel to Cincinnatti, Ohio for our next surgery! We will be leaving March 30th first thing. Tanner is already not excited, not sleeping, and has a bad attitude about everything. He is going through a very rough time! We have been blessed with a little money to aid us in our travels, and the rest God will provide throughout our trip. We pray for safe travels and a successful surgery. Please feel free to follow along on this journey, post any encouraging words. Be advised that I am not afraid to post descriptive words or photos that are not always pleasing to the eye. I will post on a regular basis, and keep everyone up to date!
I do want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Lynn Staggs of The Storehouse in Hendersonville, NC for her efforts on fundraising and constant support in all forms! I love you! She has been my rock and my inspiration through the tough times!
